CASSIA
        Restaurant

Opening this restaurant in downtown Santa Monica’s historic telephone building
required a complete renovation of the space, including the addition of an outdoor
patio area, detailed soffits, new woodwork, and a kitchen area that is brand new
with the exception of the chef’s antique iron hood, brought along from his previous
restaurant, The Spice Table, and installed above the massive wood-burning grill.
Sarlan also added a drink bar and a raw bar where the staff now prepares oysters
and other delicacies for the diners at this 220-seat restaurant.

The project was completed on a strict timeline and everything came together into a
wonderful space that creates a great dining experience.
